The monetary unit is the South African Rand (R = 100 cents).
Credit cards are accepted in most hotels and restaurants.
It is advisable to take out travelers cheques in Euro, US
$, or British £.
LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Should luggage be larger than airline regulations, please
inform us in order to make the necessary arrangements.
WHAT TO BRING
All details of dress, weather, etc., will be provided once
reservations have been made.
MAKING A RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
Once reservations have been confirmed, a deposit of 20% is
required to hold reservations. Full payment is required 8
weeks prior to arrival.
Should payment be made by credit card, a merchant fee surcharge
of 3.5% applies. Should payment be made by Swift telegraphic
transfer, a bank charge is to be paid by the client at 4%
of the fare, up to a maximum of R295.00 per transaction.
CANCELLATION CLAUSES
LAND ARRANGEMENTS including Game Lodge bookings: If canceling
within 45 DAYS of arrival, a 50% cancellation fee will be
levied. If canceling within 4 weeks of arrival, you can forfeit
100% of the fare.
FLIGHTS: Cancellation fees as stipulated by the relevant airlines
will apply.
CAR HIRE: A cancellation fee of 1 day's rental applies.
LATE BOOKING FEES AND AMENDMENTS
A minimum of R50.00 per booking will be charged for changes/amendments
made within 1 month of the departure date.
JURISDICTION
This booking and eventual contract between the client and
VIP & EXECUTIVE TOURS shall be deemed to be concluded
in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa; and shall be interpreted
according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa. In
the event of any action hereunder, the Supreme Court of South
Africa (Cape Town Local Division) shall have jurisdiction
in regard thereto, not-with-standing that the amount of the
claim may be within the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court.
CONDITIONS
VIP & EXECUTIVE TOURS reserves the right to change any
route and/or arrangement where deemed necessary. All prices
are subject to change without prior notice. VIP & EXECUTIVE
TOURS, their staff and / or agents will not be held responsible
for, and shall be exempt from liability in respect of any
loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to
any person and / or his / her luggage and / or any personal
property, whenever the same shall arise from, or be occasioned
by the negligence of VIP & EXECUTIVE TOURS, their staff
and / or agents, or any other person directly or indirectly
in the employment or service of VIP & EXECUTIVE TOURS
or otherwise under any circumstances whatsoever.
