and drive along the Atlantic coast via Sea Point, Bantry Bay
to Camps Bay, where we will stop for a photo-opportunity of
the Twelve Apostles.
From there we drive to Hout Bay and along the most picturesque

the Cape Peninsula.
And now we slowly drive along the False Bay coast to the

(Every last Sunday of the month, the "Crankhandle Club"
of Cape Town meets, when everyone arrives in their respective
collector's piece and much palaver goes on about this and
that.)
N.B. For obvious reasons, we cannot arrange
long distance trips with the oldtimers; in any event, who
wants to sit in the car all day long when such beautiful sites
beckon to be visited?!
HERE IS SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT
WHICH WE CAN ALSO ARRANGE FOR YOU !
South Africa is world-famous as one of the last outposts
of the glorious old steam engine trains. There are a number
of destinations available in the Cape or along the Garden
Route, including a trip to Darling during the spring flower
season or a trip to the magnificent Spier Wine Estate including
a classical concert under the stars, sipping a Chardonnay
or a Cape Classic. This can be combined with transfers by
oldtimers to and from the station.
