TOUR SOUTHERN AFRICA IN LUXURY AND

CAPE TOWN

SURROUNDING AREAS AND BEACHES

A South African tour or safari would not be complete without a visit to Cape Town, our mother city. We at VIP & Executive tours South Africa are proud to have a couple of enlightening tours planned for Cape Town that will make the tourist, like many others before them, want to own a piece of this wonderful city at the bottom of the African continent. With its ample beaches, moderate climate and welcoming people, this surely is a must see for any discerning tourist to South Africa. Herewith we present some more info on our most fantastic mother city.

Table Mountain Cape Town

It really is very difficult not to become too verbose and enthusiastic when trying to describe the many virtues of what Sir Francis Drake in the 16th Century called "the fairest Cape in the whole circumference of the Earth". At the confluence of the great Atlantic and the Indian Oceans and the resultant different climes, landscapes, beaches and vegetation, we have the home of the Sixth Floral Kingdom of the World, and the one boasting the greatest multitude of indigenous flowers.

Add to that the mind-blowing meeting of majestic mountains and swirling seas, with some of the world's most fertile valleys just miles away in Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek, Elgin and Ceres, producing fruit and vines of the highest quality.

- and all this steeped in the centuries-old culture of Europe, yet grafted onto the solid stock of Africa's soul and heritage - and you have a touristy menu made in Heaven!

IT JUST DOES NOT GET BETTER THAN THIS!

Welcome to Cape Town, Mother City of Africa, and the Western Cape, an area which is regarded as one of the most beautiful regions in the world. The City is a rare cultural gem, resulting from the amalgamation of Indonesian, French, Dutch, British and German settlers, the local Bushman and Hottentot tribes and the Bantu tribes from the north.

The good news - still - is that only a chosen few know about this jewel of a long-haul destination from Europe and the Americas, or Asia for that matter. The finest golf-courses dotted around the Cape Peninsula, be it links courses along the Atlantic at Milnerton, or green lungs in the heart of the city and yet at the foot of majestic Table Mountain at Mowbray or Moullie Point, do battle with a multitude of mile-long beaches or rocky coves and cutting-edge shopping centres more elegant than anywhere else in the world!

Golf Cape Town

Blouberg beach
The impressive presence of Table Mountain, flanked by the legendary Devil's Peak and historical Signal Hill, stands proudly above the city. Beautiful white sandy beaches along a peaceful coastline frame the Cape Peninsula, which is famed for its unique floral kingdom, bountiful rivers, vleis and dams and magnificent countryside. The surrounding area extends far into the winelands, green in summer and red-gold in autumn.

Camps Bay beach
Cape Town boasts a multitude of entertainment, ranging from outdoor activities and adventures in the sun to a roaring night life under neon signs. The vast range of shopping opportunities includes haggling with shopholders at Greenmarket Square Flea Market, as well as breezing through sophisticated and stylish shopping malls. The huge variety of restaurants reflects the multicultured history of the Cape and caters for everyone's taste, from fast-food outlets and casual to the chic to the very elegant.

Cape Town City
Cape Town provides a setting for many scenic wonders, magnificent seascapes and panoramic vistas. The beautiful coastal areas of Camps Bay, Clifton, Llandudno, Bantry Bay, Hout Bay and Blouberg surround the breathtaking tranquility of the winelands, Constantia, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franshhoek.

Cape Town is a city of culture, built on a history that reflects in the architecture, cuisine, music and dance. Together with a warm summer and temperate winter climate and a friendly community, the Western Cape and the Mother City are an ideal holiday destination throughout the year.

Cape Winelands

From Cape Town and it's dominating centre of attraction, Table Mountain, rising some 1000 m from the sea below, there are countless excursions to its many sites and to the surrounding areas. Its Mediterranean climate makes it accessible all year round, with each season offering its particular charms. Be sure to allow enough time to visit "The Cape of Good Hope" and to behold the "Footstool of God" as we call Table Mountain.
